Redner’s Markets operates under an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), so we are 100% owned by employees. As a Redner’s Markets employee, you’ll have the opportunity to buy company shares, something the general public doesn’t have. We are not a publicly traded company; we reserve all shares for employee purchases.
The Daily Pay Program is also significant to Redner’s Market employees. Accessing your compensation before payday can save you the hassle of borrowing money when emergencies arise. The program automatically tracks the hours worked and the pay that follows. Net pay is available to withdraw for a small fee when employees need to access it. When unused, the program costs nothing.
Community Expectations
Redner’s Markets employees find a place of employment they can be proud of! We offer customers groceries they must have at affordable prices and with the level of service they deserve. We also commit to helping the greater community.
Examples of our community outreach and charity work include providing nonprofits with the Save-A-Tape Program and wholesale prices on groceries used to hold fundraisers.
Do you know a nonprofit interested in the Save-A-Tape Program? The process is straightforward.
- Members of the nonprofit register for a Save-a-Tape card.
- When they shop at Redner’s Markets, they present the card before checkout and will be provided a special receipt that should be saved and turned in to the fundraiser organizer.
- The club will save these tapes until the redemption amount is at least $50. The receipts will not expire for three years.
- We offer 1% rebates on everything spent – other than milk, tobacco, and tax.
We also raise money directly for a range of charitable organizations.
Since 1981, Redner’s Markets has participated in Toys for Tots, collecting an average of four big truck trailers full of toys for disadvantaged children every holiday season.
We also participate in Relay for Life each year, with over 30 teams from Redner’s Markets participating.
Other charities we work with regularly include Feeding America food banks, local food banks, Girl and Boy Scouts, the Salvation Army, Lions Clubs, Shriners clubs, rotary organizations, church groups, volunteer fire departments, youth sports teams, and other area nonprofits.
