Recalls

You have placed your trust in the food products purchased from Redner’s Warehouse Markets and food safety remains our #1 priority.  Having safe, fresh food available is our everyday guarantee to our customers.

Recalls are issued to protect the consumers from a product or products that are potentially unsafe or harmful to consume or use.  When a product is recalled by the manufacturer, U.S.D.A. or F.D.A, Redner’s will alert all stores and the product is immediately removed from our shelves.  Below are some helpful links and resources consumers can use to research food safety and/or recall notices.

Below is a list of current recalls that affect customers at Redner’s Warehouse Markets.   If you find that you have a recalled product, please return the recalled product(s) to any Redner’s Warehouse Markets for a full refund.

Fresh Express Recalls Certain Salad Bowl Products Containing Ready-To-Eat Chicken Produced by BrucePac from 8/12 – 10/7/24

October 11, 2024 - Fresh Express is Recalling certain Salad Bowl products that contain ready-to-eat chicken produced by BrucePac from August 12 to October 7, 2024. The BrucePac chicken products are subject to a recall by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service due to the potential presence of Listeria monocytogenes. No illnesses are reported to date.  Salad Bowls that contain the recalled BrucePac chicken include certain Fresh Express SKUs of Chicken Caesar Gourmet Café Salads and Santa Fe Style Gourmet Café Salads as well as certain private label salad bowl products. HP HOOD RECALLS SELECT UNITS – 96 oz REFRIGERATED LACTAID®

September 20, 2024 - Hood is voluntarily recalling a limited number of 96 oz containers of LACTAID Milk out of an abundance of caution because the product may contain trace amounts of almond, which is not listed on the label. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to almonds may run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. Frito-Lay Issues Recall Of Snacks Variety Pack w/Quaker Chewy Granola Bars

December 15, 2023 - Frito-Lay today issued a voluntary recall of Frito-Lay Snacks Variety Pack with Quaker Chewy 17.42 oz – 20ct that may contain Quaker Chewy Granola bars because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella.  For more information click the following link.  Product can can be returned to any Redner's Market for a full refund or exchange. https://www.rednersmarkets.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/quaker_recall2023.pdf

Voluntary Recall of Select Jif® Products

Abbott initiating voluntary recall of powder formulas, including Similac®, Alimentum® and EleCare®

February 18, 2022 - Abbott is initiating a proactive, voluntary recall of powder formulas, including Similac®, Alimentum® and EleCare® manufactured in Sturgis, Mich., one of the company’s manufacturing facilities. The recall does not include any metabolic deficiency nutrition formulas. Abbott is voluntarily recalling these products after four consumer complaints related to Cronobacter sakazakii or Salmonella Newport in infants who had consumed powder infant formula manufactured in this facility. Fresh Express Recall of Specific Coded Bagged Product

December 20, 2021 - Fresh Express has announced a recall of specific bagged products manufactured at the Streamwood facility during the time period of November 20 through December 16 due to a potential health risk from Listeria. Recalled items show product codes Z324 through Z350. Flower’s Foods Amends Recall of Tastykake Multipack Cupcakes

November 4, 2021 - Flowers Foods has amended its October 31, 2021 press release announcing a voluntary recall of a limited number of Tastykake multi-pack cupcakes to reflect additional “Enjoy By” dates included in the original recall. As a precautionary measure, Flowers Foods, Inc.  is voluntarily recalling Tastykake multi-pack cupcakes due to the potential presence of tiny fragments of metal mesh wire. The recall was initiated following notification by a vendor of the possible contamination in a supplied ingredient.  Guests can return any of the affected product for a refund.  Specific information on the impacts products with production codes can be found here.

Johnson & Johnson Recall of Specific Sunscreen Products

July 15, 2021 -  Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. (JJCI) is voluntarily recalling all lots of five NEUTROGENA® and AVEENO® aerosol sunscreen product lines to the consumer level. Internal testing identified low levels of benzene in some samples of the products. Consumers should stop using the affected products and follow the instructions set forth below. Covid-19 Vaccination Information

Select Redner’s Pharmacies are administering the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine in coordination with the Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) and the CDC. Redner’s Pharmacies will be following guidance provided by the CDC and DOH. Vaccines initially will be available to patients in the appropriate Phase 1 category, established by DOH. For more specific information on the vaccine and phases, visit the Pa. DOH website: https://www.health.pa.gov/topics/disease/coronavirus/Pages/Vaccine.aspx Participating pharmacies in Pennsylvania include Shenandoah, Hegins, Schuylkill Haven and Palmyra. Pharmacies will not take walk-ins and vaccines can only be scheduled by appointment by visiting the link below and filling out the form for pre-registration. When additional vaccine supply becomes available, we will notify you. Please note: The vaccine supply is extremely limited at this time. Filling out this form puts you on our waiting list but the waiting list is extensive and does not guarantee you an immediate appointment. Once we get a vaccine shipment and you are next on the waiting list, a member from our team will give you a call to schedule an appointment.
