Recipe for Honey Barbecued Wings
Ingredients:
- 3 lbs chicken wings
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
Sauce:
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- ½ cup honey
- 1 tsp garlic powder ½ tsp cayenne
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Prepare a baking sheet by lining with foil, and spray a cooling rack with cooking spray and then place the rack on the baking sheet.
- Pat dry the wings and throw into a large bowl.
- Mix the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss the wings in the seasoning mix.
- Place the wings on the rack so that none touches another. Roast for 17 minutes on each side.
- Prepare the sauce while the wings cook, combining the sauce, honey, and seasonings on low heat until everything is dissolved and begins to bubble lightly.
- Raise the oven’s temp to broil. Crisp the wings for a couple of minutes more.
- Carefully remove the wings from the rack into a bowl. Pour over the sauce and toss.
- Place the wings back onto the rack and broil another couple of minutes.
Air Fryer Instructions:
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
- Air fry about 8 wings at a time, leaving space between each wing.
- Cook for 10 min on each side.
- Raise the temp to 400°F; cook another 5 min.
- Toss the wings in sauce in a bowl.
- Return to the air fryer for another few min on 400°F.
Sheet Pan Pizza
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ tsp active dry yeast
- 1 ½ tsp sugar
- 1 cup water + 2 TBSP – WARM
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 6 TBSP olive oil
- 3 tsp salt
- Package of pepperoni
- 3 cups mozzarella, divided
- ¼ Parmesan, divided
- 1 ½ cups pizza sauce
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, add the WARM water and then the yeast and sugar.
- Whisk to combine.
- Allow to rest for five min until bubbles form on the top.
- Add the flour, two tablespoons of olive oil, and salt.
- Mix with a sturdy utensil until the dough comes together.
- Continue mixing until a wet dough forms.
- Drizzle olive oil on the dough adn the sides of the bowl.
- Coat the dough ball in oil.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap, and allow it to rise for about 90 min.
- Oil a sheet pan.
- Press the dough onto the pan; cover with wrap and let it rest for an hour until it rises a bit more.
- Preheat the oven to 500°F and move the rack to the oven’s bottom.
- Spread the sauce, cheeses, and pepperoni on the dough, followed by a bit more mozzarella.
- Bake the pizza for about 20 min.
- Sprinkle a bit of Parmesan, and move the pizza to a cooling rack.
