Our story began over half a century ago as two small grocery store spaces near Reading, PA. Our focus on customer satisfaction through employing the right people, stocking fresh and high-quality foods, keeping costs low, and maintaining a pleasant environment has allowed us to expand. We have 44 supermarkets and 23 quick-stop locations in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware.
The employees at Redner’s Markets are unique in that they also have the opportunity to be owners. We were the first supermarket in Pennsylvania to operate under an ESOP, or Employee Stock Ownership Plan, which means we are fully employee-owned. As you can imagine, employees’ ownership equals a customer experience with enhanced motivation to encourage return shoppers through excellent service.
