History of Redner’s
Redner’s Markets was founded in 1970 in Berks County. We started with two small supermarkets near Reading and, within five years, we took the step to make our stores 100% employee-owned with an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan), the first in the state of Pennsylvania.
In 1979, we took the name of Redner’s Markets, and in 1987, we transformed how we approach retail. Our Warehouse Market stores focus on straightforward deals with no tricks. We control costs and extend savings to our customers by providing the lowest possible price for high-quality merchandise.
Technology and innovation have been our friends. Redner’s Markets was one of the first in the state to use scanners for checkout, embrace recycling, and incorporate a pharmacy and salad bar.
Today, Redner’s Markets encompasses 44 Warehouse Markets and 23 Quick Shoppes throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. We provide our customers with outstanding, personal service they won’t find elsewhere.
Key to our customers’ savings is our loyalty program. With a Redner’s Rewards Card, you’ll accumulate points each time you shop at a Warehouse Market or Quick Stop location, which you can redeem for savings on gas or grocery purchases.
You’ll also gain access to special promotions and sweepstakes for even more savings. To save on groceries, redeem your Redner’s Rewards points at checkout.
If you prefer to use those Redner’s Rewards points on gas instead, you’ll be able to redeem them at thousands of participating locations all over the US. In Allentown alone, you’ll find a Redner’s Quick Stop on Airport Road and six gas partners within the city.
For every $50 spent with Redner’s Markets, you’ll be able to save 5¢/gallon on a 20-gallon fill-up. Remember that Redner’s Rewards points expire 30 days from the date you earn them, so use them regularly.
Today’s customers need the option to order online and pick up their purchases at the curb. Whether your schedule or social distancing demands it, we make it simple to grab your groceries curbside without paying a fortune for the privilege.
Catering and Party Trays
Yet another key benefit for Redner’s Markets’ customers is catering. We offer many options, including deli, seafood, bakery, produce, and Chef Tim’s Meals Made Easy. Let us help make your next gathering easy to enjoy.
