Redner’s To Close Schuylkill Haven Pharmacy
Reading, Pa. – Company officials have announced the closing of Redner’s Pharmacy in Schuylkill Haven. The Rx is located within the Redner’s Market on 191 Manheim Road in Schuylkill Haven and will close at 1 pm on August 28, 2024. Redners Pharmacy opened in 1997.
“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure marking the end of an era for both our dedicated staff and the many customers/patients we have had the pleasure of serving,” said Robert McDonough, Vice President. “Unfortunately, the closure is based upon economic challenges and changes in the healthcare industry which caused us to make the difficult decision to cease operations. Our staff will be available to assist with any questions or concerns during this time.” McDonough also noted, “This decision was not made lightly, and we understand the impact it will have on our loyal customers, employees, and the broader community. Unfortunately, we had limited options on providing a significant amount of notice to patients. We would also like to acknowledge and thank our incredible team of employees, who have been the heart and soul of Redner’s Pharmacy. Their dedication, compassion, and professionalism have been integral to our success, and we are committed to supporting them through this transition.”
Redner’s will be working closely with patients to ensure a smooth transition of their prescriptions to the CVS Pharmacy at 212 Pottsville Street in Pottsville.
