Redner’s Hosts Open House as Part of Grand Opening in West Dover (De.)

Reading, Pa. – Final preparation and stocking is taking place and the finishing touches are being applied to Redner’s newest store in West Dover, Kent County (De.). Unique to its grand opening celebration, Redner’s Warehouse Markets invites the local community to get a first glimpse of their new Warehouse Market during an open house held Tuesday, August 6 from 5-8 p.m. Redner’s store director James Young, along with corporate staff and directors will be on-hand to welcome the community to its new grocery store. The biggest attraction of the open house is the many sampling stations located throughout the store. The public is welcome to browse through the store and sample many of the delicious products that will be available within the store. Wednesday, August 7 will feature a brief, closed ribbon cutting ceremony with company and local officials prior to officially opening for business at 8 am.

Measuring in at approximately 48,000 square feet, the new West Dover Warehouse Market (25 Greentree Drive) in the Greentree Village Center will be a full service grocery store offering services such as; in-store bakery, full service deli, fresh produce, and fresh meat & seafood departments, along with frozen, dairy, health and beauty aids/non-foods and grocery departments. At full operating conditions, the store will employ approximately 150 people in both full and part-time positions and be open 24 hours a day.

Customers can participate in Redner’s Pump Perks fuel discount program and save money on their fuel purchases at a local Sunoco station! For every $100 spent on groceries, customers are able to earn a 10¢ discount per gallon, which can be used during a future fuel purchase. There is no limit to the amount of discounts that can be earned and customers can redeem their Pump Perks at any time. Modeled to be a one-stop shopping destination for the local community with the additional amenities; $1 Redbox video rentals, Western Union money services and a variety of pre-paid/long distance phone cards and gift cards from national retailers. Customers will be able to take a free copy of Redner’s HealthCents newsletter and speak with Corporate Dietitian, Meredith Mensinger, about making healthy, nutritious decisions when shopping for food.
