Marinated Sirloin Filet
1⁄4 c. soy sauce
1 Tbsp sesame oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tbsp freshly grated ginger
1⁄4 tsp black pepper
1 tsp Kosher salt
1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning 4 lbs. Sirloin Filet
In a large bowl combine soy, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, pepper, Kosher salt & Montreal steak seasonings. Rub & coat the filet with seasonings. Cover bowl with plastic wrap & place inside refrigerator for up to 1 hour. Preheat outdoor grill on high. Grill filet for 7 min. on each side. Remove from grill and allow to rest for 10 minutes. Thinly slice diagonally, against the grain.
Summer Corn Salad
3 Tbsp olive oil
Juice of 1 lime
1⁄4 tsp Kosher salt
3 Ears of fresh corn – Cooked tender
1 Pt. of grape tomatoes, sliced in half
1/2 c cucumber, remove seeds, small dice 2 Tbsp fresh basil, sliced
1⁄2 c crumbled feta cheese
Mix together olive oil, lime juice, and Kosher salt. Add corn, tomatoes, cucumber, and basil. Refrigerate & add feta cheese on top before serving.
