November 6, 2006 - Redner's Closing Store in Elizabethtown

Reading, Pa. - Company officials have announced the closing of Redner's Warehouse Market in Elizabethtown. The store is located at 191 Ridge View Road South and is attached to Ridge View Dairy and the former Ridge View Family Restaurant. The company will close its doors at the end of the business day on December 2, 2006. The property is owned by Ridge View Farms dairy. “The location of this store has been a detriment to its sales and we feel it is too small to justify further investments in its future. The wisest investment for us is to focus our energies on our stores that show positive growth and potential,” said Eric White, spokesperson for Redner's Markets. An inventory liquidation sale will start on November 5 at 10% off of all purchases, excluding fair trade items controlled by the government. Discounts will continue until all products, on hand, is liquidated. Both full and part time employees within the store will be given jobs at any of the other stores within the region. Redner's Markets, Inc., an employee owned company, currently operates 40 Warehouse Markets and 12 Quick Shoppes throughout Eastern Pennsylvania, New York and Maryland. Redner's is committed to working within the community where each Warehouse Market and Quick Shoppe is located. Redner's continually strives to provide the lowest prices, freshest product and the outstanding service our customers have come to expect over the past 36 years. ###
