Reading, Pa. - It may not seem like a time to think about winter and all its accompanying ailments but now is the best time to defend again getting the flu and pneumonia! Redner's Warehouse Markets is pleased to again offer influenza and pneumonia vaccine clinics at all stores throughout the months of October and November. The United States Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends to get vaccinated in October or November because flu activity in the United States generally peaks between late December and early March.
In partnership with Maxim Health Systems, Redner's is offering flu and pneumonia vaccine clinics now through November 18 to all customers over 18 years of age within all Warehouse Markets. Customers can receive a flu vaccine for $25 and a pneumonia vaccine for $40. A schedule of the vaccination clinics can be found online at www.rednersmarkets.com with all clinics being conducted between 10 am - 2 pm. All vaccines and the disposal of related materials are conducted by Maxim Health Systems; www.findaflushot.com.
