Ephrata, Pa. - You'll have to see it to believe it! On Sunday October 2, Redner's will officially proclaim the remodeling of Ephrata's Warehouse Market complete with a grand re-opening celebration. Store director Jack Moylan will be on hand to welcome the community to its new and improved Ephrata Warehouse Market.
Since construction began in February, this location has been in a constant state of upheaval and change. Redner's moved to this location in October 1986 and has made several internal remodels but the store's overall square footage has never been expanded. The departure of a CVS pharmacy opened adequate space for Redner's to expand and give the store an updated appearance. An additional 10,000 square feet were added to the store's sales floor with an additional 1,000 square feet added for warehouse space and a new receiving dock. The store now measures approximately 46,000 square feet.
This will continue to be a full service grocery store offering services such as; in-store bakery, full service deli, fresh produce, meats and seafood departments, along with health and beauty aids/non-foods and grocery departments. Additionally, the store will now feature a full service salad bar and extensively expanded meat, dairy and frozen food departments. The added variety of new products will allow the store to offer over 44,000 different products to the consumer. The additional items will present the consumer with many more choices than previously offered in all departments. For the consumer's added convenience, the store will now feature Self Check-Out Terminals (S.C.O.T). Each S.C.O.T. includes self-checkout software and ATM-type technology that allow shoppers to pay with either cash, credit or debit card. Consumers can even use coupons and receive cash back from their transactions.
Redner's currently operates 38 Warehouse Markets and 11 Quick Shoppes throughout Eastern Pennsylvania and New York.
