Reading, Pa. - Wednesday, August 21 the doors will
officially open to the newly built, Redner's Warehouse Market in Leesport at 8
a.m. Tuesday, August 20 Redner's
will open the store to the public and media for an open house from 6 - 9 p.m.
Redner's corporate and store staff will be on hand to answer any
questions. Store manager, Bob
Emerich, will be greeting visitors at the door welcoming the community to
Redner's newest (original) location. The public is invited to come out and browse through the
store and see what Redner's Warehouse Markets have to offer in price,
selection and freshness in an all-new Leesport shopping environment.
Customers are also invited to sample the many different items that
manufacturers will be handing out that evening and throughout the weeks to
follow.
Redner's new Warehouse Market, 5471 Pottsville Pike, Leesport, Pa.
19533, is located next to the original store purchased by Earl and Mary Redner
in 1970. This will be a full
service grocery store offering services such as; in store bakery, full service
deli, fresh produce, meats and seafood departments, along with frozen, dairy,
health and beauty aids/non-foods and grocery departments.
Additionally, this store will feature a full service pharmacy, with a
drive-thru window, a branch for M&T Bank and a Redner's Italian Sub
Shoppe. The store will measure approximately 53,000 square feet approximately
five times larger than the original location.
At full operating conditions this store will employ approximately 150
people in both full and part-time positions.
Redner's currently operates 33 Warehouse Markets and 11 Quick Shoppes throughout Eastern Pennsylvania and New York.
