Redner's Markets is excited to announce the kick off of it's 2001 Easter Seals, Coins for Kids program. This is the second year Redner's has participated with Easter Seals Eastern Pennsylvania to sell paper pennies in their warehouse markets and quick shoppes.
There will be two press conferences to introduce the program to the public on Thursday, July 26. Redner's and Easter Seals will hold the first press conference at the Redner's Warehouse Market on 184 Market Street in Nesquehoning with store manager, Dave Moerder at 10:00 a.m. The second press conference will be at the Redner's Warehouse Market on 1201 Airport Road in Allentown with manager Sam Arcadipane at 2:00 p.m.
The paper pennies will be on sale at all warehouse markets and quick shoppes located throughout Lehigh, Carbon, Berks, Schuylkill, Bucks and Montgomery counties during the month of August. For a donation of $1.00, a customer will be able to write their name or a small message on the penny which will be hung throughout the store. All proceeds collected for Easter Seals go to over 1,700 local children and adults with disabilities.
Last year, Redner's helped in raising $7,241.30 for Easter Seals and is again looking for a successful partnership this year. This year we are looking forward to continued support from our customers and employees in increasing the amount donated to Easter Seals this year and continue to provide much needed services.
