Columbia, Pa. - On Tuesday, May 22 at 12 noon, Redner's Warehouse Markets, Pepperidge Farms and the Campbell Soup Company will make a donation of 125,000 Labels for Education™ to the Columbia Elementary Parents Club. Representatives from the district will be on hand at Redner's Columbia location at 3985 Columbia Avenue in Columbia, to accept the labels for Park and Taylor Elementary schools as well as the Columbia Elementary Parents Club.
Both schools are currently participating in the Campbell's Labels for Education™ program which provides schools with a cash value donation for each label of Campbell's soup or related product collected. The proceeds are then placed in the individual account for use in purchasing educational materials.
Presenting the labels will be Mark Pisacane of Pepperidge Farm; Wayne Passe of Campbell's; Jim Fisher, Columbia store manager; Kevin Snyder, Senior Vice President of Redner's Markets; and Eric White, Consumer Communications Specialist for Redner's Markets. Deb Wallace, principal of Park Elementary, and Sheri Deets, president of the Columbia Elementary Parents Club will both accept the Campbell's soup and other related product labels on behalf of the district to use towards purchasing equipment such as computers, vehicles, TV's, or any other item with an educational value of their choice.
Campbell's Labels for Education™ program has provided schools nationwide with more than $80 million dollars worth of equipment since it's inception. Redner's Warehouse Markets, Pepperidge Farm and Campbell's all believe in helping to build a stronger educational system through programs and donations such as these.
