September 18, 2000 - Postal Unit Grand Opening At Redner's Warehouse Markets

The Grand Opening of the newest Postal Unit in Allentown will take place at Redner's Warehouse Markets on Thursday, September 21 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. A formal ribbon cutting ceremony will include the Allentown Postmaster, William H. Wescoe, Senior Vice President of Store Operations, Kevin Snyder and Barry Langley Sr., the Allentown Post Office Eagle Mascot. Light refreshments and coloring books will be available for visitors.

This is one of eight postal units already located in the Allentown and will offer services such as; money order, purchasing stamps and stamp stationary, package shipping to domestic locations and other selected postal products and services. The new postal unit's hours will be, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

This addition to Redner's Warehouse Market will replace the existing unit previously located at 3039 W. Emmaus Avenue and will generally service customers located around Lehigh Street, South 12th Street, Emmaus Avenue, and First Avenue areas.
