Everyday Breakfast Sandwich

Ingredients

2 teaspoons butter
1 whole egg, Fried
1 whole wheat sandwich bun, toasted
1 teaspoon Reduced fat mayonnaise
1 slice (1 oz) american cheese
1 piece leaf lettuce
1 ounce sliced or shaved lean deli ham

Preparation

Heat butter in non-stick skillet until just hot enough to sizzle a drop of water.

Break egg and slip into pan. Immediately reduce heat to low.

Cook slowly until whites are completely set and yolks begin to thicken, but are not hard. Slid a turner under each egg, and carefully FLIP it over in the pan. COOK second side to desired doneness. Sprinkle with salt and pepper if desired.

Spread mayonnaise on each half of bun. Layer egg, cheese slice, lettuce and ham on one side of bun. Top with other bun.
