Vegetarian Caesar Salad

Ingredients

1 cup prepared croutons
1/2 cup canola oil
3 tablespoon Freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tsp chopped garlic
1/4 tsp salt
1 pinch black pepper
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
7 cups washed, dried, and chopped fresh romaine lettuce (7 - 8 oz lettuce)

Preparation

If you don't have prepared croutons, cut your favorite bread into cubes and toast until brown and crunchy.)

In a small bowl, whisk together the oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, black pepper, and 1/4 cup of the cheese until well combined.

In a large bowl, place the lettuce and pour the dressing over the lettuce. Add the croutons and remaining cheese and toss well. Serve immediately.
